   This is a youtube video that shows the historical view of Operating System and the development behind it. This video is interesting for me because of its clarity, and it is giving me a new view about how the OS created.

   Since in this course we’re going to use Linux most of the time (probably), I’m curious about the OS itself. From freedomness to customization, there are quite things that Linux offers than other OSes.

3. Why Linux Is Better For Programming
   What does Linux offer for programmers? Quite similar to the previous one, this video answer my question and curiousity, especially for a Computer Science student like me.

4. Learning the Shell
   Getting know Operating System in the beginning is quite challenging because there are lots of new terms and concept to deal with. For me, one of them is the word ‘shell’. Through this website, I get to know ‘shell’, which is basically a program that connects between user and the OS itself to run some commands.

5. 35 Linux Basic Commands Every User Should Know
   This website provides basic and common syntax to run some Linux commands. This tutorial is very helpful for me and I spent quite some time to try it.

6. Vim in 100 Seconds
   In this video, I get to know about a text editor called Vim. A very good and brief explanation for basic usage of this editor.

7. The Basics of Using the Sed Stream Editor to Manipulate Text in Linux
   This website helps me to learn about sed and its basic usage. Even though it’s still confusing for me, the way the website provides guide is very helpful.

8. Basic Syntax | Markdown Guide
   Through this guide, it helps me write this list. It also shows the similarity between .md and .html which is very intersting.

9. How Old Computer Advertisements Look Like
   Seeing how computer built back then makes me wonder on how computer spreaded towards people, which one of them is throughout advertisement. This website shows old yet vintage advertisement about computer-related things which for me it’s very interesting. I really like how they advert computer back then.

10. Bash Scripting Cheatsheet
    This website provides cheatsheet about bash scripting. For me, it’s very unique on how they serve it and it’s definitely going to be helpful if I forgot a one thing or two about bash script.
